Internet for Business and Advertising...

Tired of falling in line in the grocery stores and banks???

Why not use the internet for business?

Most people earn money from their home through Internet. A lot of people start their own business with a less capital by not considering the cost for an actual location to transact the business. They use the virtual world where they could just chat and do business without thinking of a compromising time for both of them. With the use of Internet, we could easily upload pictures and start our own business online. All we need is time, skills, and customers.

Tired of seeing campaign posters on major highways and streets???

Why not use the internet for advertising?

Now that the election is fast-approaching, the candidates are also joinining the hype of Internet and social networks. Instead of doing the normal house-to-house campaign to gain popularity, they chose to advertise in the Web where most of the people nowadays spend most of their time. What a smart move isn’t it?

Their advertisements even reached the stage where they bash each other and even create their own fan page. Is this really how the campaign process should go? Should they really bad mouth each other? I guess not :(

Use the Internet to advertise and not to attack one another for it won’t prove anything about your leadership skills. Act like a man and stand on your own.

Intellectual Property...

Intellectual Property...

That may sound pretty simple for some but actually, there’s a lot more about this topic. People tend to take for granted the intellectual property of others while doing their works. The mere copy-paste of information from the internet without putting proper citation is an example of stealing one’s intellectual property.

No matter how big or small that plagiarism or copying you did, it is still stealing in the eyes of the owner of that idea.

To avoid certain mistakes, I think we should learn to practice using our own thoughts and ideas about certain issues or topics. As much as possible, we should try to avoid using the internet as our resources in times of cramming papers and such. Why not use the time, you spent in searching for probable articles that you could just simply copy and then paste, for materializing your own ideas. For sure your paper would be more realistic and precise for it contains what you exactly mean.

For those who can’t avoid using the internet as their sources, practice the art of citation. Give the credit to the one who deserves it. Don’t cheat for you’re only fooling yourself.

click...click...click...

Are you in Facebook??? Can you order McDonald’s online??? I sent you an e-Card last Christmas! The INTERNET plays a very significant role in every people’s lives. With just simple click you can easily get what you want, a simple wall post can make other people smile and a colorful e-Card that will make people joyful. Imagine the wonders the internet brings to all of us.

I believe that Internet changed our lives in a major way, in such that most of us never thought of living their lives without an Internet. I find it very beneficial, most especially with the information it gives me. With just a single click, everything could be there. That’s the beauty of Internet.

In using the Internet, we should be held responsible with our actions. Don’t let the Internet enslave you and never let it be your master. Use the Internet wisely. Think about every click we will make before doing so.
